SafetyNet Technologies: Lighting the way for Sustainable Fishing

Meet SafetyNet, a team of engineers and communicators, collaborating with scientists to make fishermen’s lives easier, and ultimately commercial fishing more sustainable.  
 
With the cost of discarded fish estimated at $1B per year, this team is focused on using light-emitting diodes (LEDs) technology and light as a tool to raise the selectivity of the fishing process and help fisherman catch the right fish in the first place.

He studied Product Design Engineering in Glasgow and London before working with artists and scientists to bring their visions to life.
