Fred Sullivan

Fred has been a leader in the development of websites and multimedia since 1994. Over the past two decades, Fred has maintained a strong record as an entrepreneur and consultant in IT, multimedia and entertainment. Included in Fred's web credits are designing the website framework for the Coalition for the International Criminal Court, an initiative that enabled countries to unite and collaborate prior to the Rome Treaty Conference which ultimately led to the formation of the International Criminal Court in 2002.  This court was established to try crimes against humanity. He also founded LiQ, a shopping search engine, in 1998, an internet company that was later sold for $48 million, and the interactive agency NetReaction, founded in 1997. NetReaction created Pihana Pacific's online marketing and branding strategy, a plan that resulted in Pihana's successful merger with Equinix (EQIX on the NASDAQ) in 2002. Along the way, he has consulted on many other technology start-ups, as well as for Fortune 500 and Global 1000 companies such as Trammell Crow and Sumitomo Corporation. He has continued to nuture and incubate ventures at as founder & CEO Venture Acceleration. HIs work with the UN & NGO continue as one of the founding team mbmers and now Executive Director of the Man Up Campaign to end gender-based violence. 

His early professional life was shaped by his move to New York city included work at some of the top culinary institutions in New York starting with L'Ecole International Culinary Center in Soho, The Russian Tea Room and many years and roles at Gloriouse Food the premier catering company of the time. He was a founder of FineFood Market a .com and pubiished directory.

Fred’s diverse experience, knowlege and skills at developing whole system strategies for everything from local nonprofits to multinational corporations is balanced with an extensive background in painting, ballet, the Argentine tango, and classical piano, enabling him to interact successfully with clients and creatives of all types and weave conviction, message, and web savvy seamlessly. In addition, his lifetime involvement with computers from their onset, combined with the study of life sciences and film and TV production experience give him a solid understanding of how business systems work. Fred relies on his ability to envision space and possibilities to see into the structure of any venture, assess core needs, and help find immediate solutions — whether it’s guiding the direction of a camera, developing a brand strategy, or judging how to design a database interface or software application.
